Or else our civilization will go to dogs faster and sooner than we imagine.Right now IT professionals also know how to pander to cheap and self-destructive user preferences of IT users which appeal to overwhelming masses just for commercial gain. Certifications have little value outside of the "admin" or "operations" space, and even then, you don't need them to get a good job if you have a strong technical bachelors degree from a reputable university. Many, if not most, IT jobs don't require touching hardware, and thus, can and are easily outsourced.
